Scrap lithium batteries are fed into a shredder by a conveyor for shredding. The shredded material is then sent to a two-stage multi blade crusher for crushing. The crushed material enters the cyclone separator through a negative pressure system for dust filtration, and is separated by two airflow streams to separate substances of different densities.
