Operational principle

Activated carbon adsorption mainly occurs during the process of removing impurities in the liquid and gas phases using activated carbon. The porous structure of activated carbon provides a large surface area, making it very easy to achieve the purpose of absorbing and collecting impurities. Due to the presence of unbalanced and unsaturated molecular attraction or chemical bonding forces on the surface of activated carbon adsorbents, when the solid surface comes into contact with gas, it can attract gas molecules, causing them to concentrate and remain on the solid surface. This phenomenon is called adsorption. By utilizing the adsorption capacity of solid surfaces, like magnetism, all molecules have mutual attraction. Because of this, a large number of molecules on the pore walls of activated carbon can generate strong gravity, thereby attracting impurities from the medium to the pore size. Make the exhaust gas come into contact with porous solid substances on the large surface, and the pollutants in the exhaust gas are adsorbed on the solid surface, separating them from the gas mixture to achieve the purpose of purification.

Adaptation object

1. Widely applicable, it can effectively treat and purify VOCs organic waste gas, non-methane total hydrocarbons, eight major odorous substances (ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, carbon disulfide, methyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide, dimethyl disulfide, trimethylamine, styrene), as well as benzene, toluene, xylene and other waste gases. It is particularly suitable for treating various odorous waste gases, putrid waste gases, wastewater and foul smelling gases.

2. It is prohibited to use waste gases containing high concentrations of flammable and explosive volatile pollutants such as methane, xylene, and nitro groups (such as fuel waste gas, nitrate waste gas, refining and chemical waste gas, paint enterprise waste gas, fertilizer enterprise waste gas, gasoline and alcohol waste gas, biogas waste gas, etc.).
