Gravity separator

Operational principle

The sorting machine, cyclone separator, dust collector, and induced draft fan form a classification system. Under the suction force of the fan, the material moves at high speed from the lower inlet of the classifier to the classification area with the rising airflow. Under the strong centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating classification turbine, the coarse and fine materials are separated. Fine particles that meet the particle size requirements enter the cyclone separator or dust collector through the gap between the classification wheel blades for collection. The coarse particles sink under the action of gravity and centrifugal force, and are thrown around the cylinder by the rotor blades and slide down along the cylinder, During the landing process, it is also impacted by secondary air flow, causing the agglomerated fine powder in the coarse particles to disperse and blow again towards the classification chamber. The coarse powder is discharged by the lower discharge valve under the action of gravity.

Performance characteristics

1. Adopting a vertical graded turbine device, with low rotational speed, wear resistance, and low system power configuration.

2. The classifier has a reasonable structure and can supply products with multiple particle sizes, making it suitable for large-scale industrial grading of 325~8000 mesh (1.6~45 microns) micro powders.

3. Strong applicability, can be used in series with ball mills, vibration mills, Raymond mills and other grinding equipment to form a closed loop.

4. The system operates under negative pressure, with dust emissions not exceeding 40mg/m, and equipment noise is reduced to 75dB (A) through noise reduction measures.

5. High degree of automation. The control system adopts program control and real-time display of operating status. All levels of impeller classifiers adopt electronic frequency conversion and stepless speed regulation. Electronic control is achieved during the automatic circulation multi box dust collection process, which automatically cleans the dust and improves the stability of the negative pressure of the entire machine.
