Equipment Introduction

As a type of environmental waste gas treatment equipment, it exists and is divided into circulating water spray towers according to its working principle. After purification, the acid mist exhaust gas is dehydrated and demisted by a defogging plate before being discharged into the atmosphere by a fan. The absorption liquid is pressurized by a water pump at the bottom of the tower and sprayed down at the top of the tower. Later, it flows back to the bottom of the tower for recycling. The purified acid mist exhaust gas meets the emission requirements of local emission standards.

When dusty or oily waste gas passes through the spray tower, a suitable position inside the tower (depending on the design) sprays out liquid media, some are alkaline solution, and some are sulfuric acid solution. If the exhaust gas contains acidity, choose alkaline spray to neutralize the acidity. If the exhaust gas contains alkalinity, choose sulfuric acid solution for absorption. The specific choice of acid-base solution depends on the nature of the waste gas and the situation of the enterprise itself. No acid or alkali, but oily or dusty waste gas can be treated by spraying a circulating water solution. When the exhaust gas enters from the bottom of the tower, it comes into contact with the spray medium sprayed out by the spray tower. After contact, the exhaust gas or oil pollution is wrapped in water droplets, and the water droplets that wrap the pollutants collide again, increasing the surface area and gravity. Under the influence of gravity, water droplets that wrap around pollutants fall into the bottom of the spray tower, with heavier pollutants settling at the bottom of the tower and lighter pollutants floating on the surface of the circulating water body.

Design considerations

1. When the exhaust gas contains oil and dust, it is necessary to consider whether to add filter fillers or nozzle models when designing the spray tower. Choosing an inappropriate nozzle can easily cause blockage in the spray tower water system.

2. Choose the appropriate spray medium.

3. Design reasonable airflow channels and water supply methods.

4. Wastewater discharge and cleaning issues after spray tower spraying.

5. Choose the appropriate water pump based on the appropriate gas-liquid ratio.

6. The flow rate of an empty tower is generally designed to be 1-6 meters per second. But in the case of medium spraying and filling, the filtering wind speed can be reasonably selected based on the specific situation of the exhaust gas.
