Automated disassembly consists of two parts. Using a robotic arm for module cutting and disassembly. Automated cutting and dismantling work is carried out by confirming the position through image and coordinate positioning.

Introduction to Module Disassembly Process

This process is mainly aimed at the disassembly process layout of power battery modules, which is used for the cascading utilization of power batteries;

Single cell battery - testing, direct cascading utilization

Scrap batteries - crushing and recycling

This process layout adopts a modular assembly line layout, using a semi-automatic and manual collaboration mode to complete the entire disassembly action.

Process flow

Disassembly process

1. Lifting: The module to be disassembled is lifted onto the module disassembly speed chain line;

2. Cut FPC: Manually cut open FPC;

3. Cache: Cache workstation;

4. Breaking rivets: Use a hand drill to drill the module rivets to loosen the fixed rivets on the module side plate (this station is equipped with a lifting and rotating mechanism, which can only be drilled after the module is clamped in place by the module clamping mechanism);

5. Disassemble side panels and end panels: Manually place the disassembled module side panels and end panels in designated positions;

6. Disassembling the battery cell: manually remove the surface pad attached to the battery cell;

7. Cutting connecting pieces: The manual auxiliary cutting mechanism cuts open the connecting pieces on the module;

8. Removing battery cells: Manually transport individual battery cells to the module sorting conveyor line.
